Green Schools Challenge!

The Apeiron Institute is proud to be co-sponsoring the 2014-2015 Green Schools Challenge with the Rhode Island chapter of the US Green Building Council!

The challenge encourages the development of Green Teams in RI schools and cultivates sustainable relationships between stakeholders in public education.

In its first Rhode Island launch, this competition will be challenging public and private schools in Rhode Island to devise and implement, with the help of professional green mentors, the most creative, effective and no or low cost sustainable practices for their schools & communities.

Will you help this exciting project become a reality and support young people around the state to become sustainability leaders in our schools? We need interested students, teachers and schools, and we need individual sponsors and organizational partners! Visit the Green Schools Challenge site to learn more, get involved, become a mentor, volunteer, and financially support the students and schools involved in the challenge!
